Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Application and Interview Process
Candidates who would like to be considered for one of two positions in the Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship program need to submit an application and one set of required documents.
Interviews are by invitation only and are generally offered to applicants with a combination of solid medical school performance, above average USMLE scores, and recent clinical experience in U.S. hospitals in which the student or physician had meaningful responsibility for patient management decisions. In addition, three letters of recommendation are preferred.
A complete application should include:
- St.Vincent Hospital Fellowship Application
- Curriculum Vitae
- USMLE Scores (Steps 1, 2, and 3 or equivalent)
- Personal statement
- At least 3 letters of recommendation
- ECFMG (if applicable)
- Our institution sponsors J-1 Visas only

There are TWO openings for 2016- 2017
Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology – Applications accepted as of September 1, 2014 for training that begins on July 1, 2016.
The deadline for accepting applications for 2016 is February 1, 2015.
How to schedule an interview:
Interviews are scheduled by invitation only and generally occur in early spring
Interview Day Agenda:
The interview day is spent with the Program Director and faculty, along with the current fellows.
The applicant is responsible for transportation and accommodation expenses.
