A Joint Effort: Saint John's Health System Program Stresses Education, Follow-Up

An Anderson resident was preparing to go through knee replacement surgery when she was introduced to the Joint Effort Program at Saint John’s Joint Replacement Center. Amy Herbig, registered nurse at the Joint Replacement Center, said the comprehensive education program that begins well before a patient undergoes surgery and continues after the surgery, has significantly improved their patient outcomes.
