Dr. David Schwartz, orthopedic surgeon with OrthoIndy, performed a 12-hour lifesaving surgery to correct a rare and severe form of scoliosis. Salma Suleman, a 12-year-old Kenyan girl, had a 170-degree spinal curve, which was causing lung compression and pulmonary hypertension.
