Voice evaluation: Acoustic analysis of the patient’s voice to help determine the appropriate treatment and provide a baseline against which progress can be assessed
Videotroboscopy: State-of-the-art digital technology that facilitates identification of various vocal cord conditions and abnormalities for proper diagnosis and treatment strategies
Voice therapy: Individualized voice therapy to help patients learn new ways to speak to overcome vocal problems
Professional voice therapy: Specialized services for individuals who use their voices professionally (singers, teachers, preachers, broadcasters, actors, auctioneers, etc.) to help them achieve optimal vocal function
Laryngectomee therapy: Beginning with pre-surgical counseling, St.Vincent clinicians help laryngectomee patients as they learn to re-establish communication.
Vocal Cord Dysfunction (VCD) Clinic: Our diagnostic team, comprised of a medical doctor board certified in sports medicine, a respiratory therapist and a speech language pathologist, provides a multi-disciplinary, individualized treatment approach to patients with vocal cord dysfunction.
Velopharyngeal insufficiency Evaluation: Our thorough analysis assists physicians in determining the functional capabilities and the therapeutic options available for patients.
