Breast Health

Saint John’s Health System was granted full three-year accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers in 2011.  Saint John’s is one of only a handful of locations in Indiana to be accredited.

Conveniently located in Saint John’s Ambulatory Services Center, the Women’s Center’s atmosphere, staff, programs and services are geared totally to women. The Women’s Center provides a variety of health education literature and videos pertaining to women’s health issues, including breast self-exam instruction. Our state-of-the-art diagnostic techniques provide the detection of breast disease.

Breast Care Navigation Services

As part of our services, a registered nurse works with patients whose mammogram results suggest further testing. The nurse assists patients in navigating the health care system, offering assistance, education and comfort. To speak to the breast care navigator, call 683-3233.

Marie's Hope Free Services

Through Marie's Hope, a living tribute to Sister Marie Bush, c.s.c., indigent women in Madison County can receive free mammograms, pap tests and osteoporosis screenings. For more information about eligibility, call 646-8532.
