Heart (Cardiovascular)

The Chest Pain Center, accessed through the Emergency Center, is accredited by the Society of Chest Pain Centers. The Heart Center at St.Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital provides a comprehensive array of diagnostic tests to evaluate heart function. Our services include:

• Chemical and exercise stress testing
• Echocardiography
• Cardioversions
• IV medication for heart failure
• Peripheral vascular testing

All testing is completed in private rooms. This allows for family visitation when procedures require more recovery time for the patient.

Cardiac Catheterization

The performs hundreds of catheterizations each year to evaluate heart function and determine if arteries are blocked or narrowed.  Upgraded technology allows for sophisticated diagnostic angiograms and interventional procedures, such as balloon angioplasty and stents.
