Bennett Rehabilitation Center is Madison County’s ONLY inpatient intensive rehabilitation center. The Center is not for long-term placement. Rather, it offers a professional and friendly atmosphere for patients and caregivers to work toward independent living. Features of the facility include:
Each patient’s individual functional goals are established and reassessed as the patient progresses. Patients are encouraged to dress in street clothes and eat together in the center's dining room. Rehabilitative therapy is required for a minimum of three hours at least five days per week. The family is an integral part of the team and rehabilitation process. Family members are encouraged to participate in patient conferences during the rehabilitation stay and to attend educational sessions provided by therapy and nursing staff.
