Dooley, a St.Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital Pet Ministry therapy dog, was presented with a Caring Angel Award. A Caring Angel award is given when a patient or patient’s friends and family are appreciative of the excellent care received at the hospital. St.Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital Associate Lisa Hahn nominated Dooley. She said, “Dooley provides four-legged TLC to the emergency room patients each week, as well as other areas of the hospital. He always welcomes the staff and patients with a wag of his tail and his gentle spirit. He loves to have his tummy rubbed and eagerly goes room to room to visit. He provides a healing touch that only a therapy dog can give!” A contribution is made in the caregiver’s honor to the Foundation to help fund new programs, services, technology, education and research that benefit our patients and their families.
