The St.Joseph Hospital Emergency Department is available to diagnose and treat patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We’re prepared to manage even the most serious health issues. St.Joseph is the only hospital in Howard County accredited as both a Chest Pain Center and a Stroke Center of Excellence, and we’re the only hospital in the county that is part of a network that includes a Level II Trauma Center. For emergencies that require highly specialized diagnosis and treatment, St.Joseph has a helipad and is conveniently located just minutes by air or ambulance from the St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana, the St.Vincent Trauma Center and specialists at St.Vincent Indianapolis Hospital.

Enter through the St.Joseph Emergency Department and you have seamless access to excellent physicians at St.Joseph and the entire St.Vincent Health system, including some of the finest physicians in the country.
