Financial Matters

The St.Vincent Clay Hospital mission is to improve the health status of the individuals and communities we serve, with special concern for the sick and poor. We are committed to caring for all people, regardless of their ability to pay for services.

If financial concerns arise during your hospital stay, or you feel you may be unable to pay for part or all of your medical services, please call (812) 442-2500.

You will receive a bill for any remaining balances due after your insurance has processed your claim. You will have 30 days to pay the balance. For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard or Discover.

We  also provide payment options and participate in a number of programs designed to assist individuals and families with healthcare financial needs. You will also receive separate bills from any physicians, such as your attending physician, anesthesiologist, or radiologist, who provide services during your admission.
