Peripheral vascular disease is a narrowing and hardening of the arteries that supply blood to the legs and feet. The condition can be difficult to diagnose, and treatment options vary from patient to patient. The Vascular Center of Excellence at St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana provides an interdisciplinary team of experts to consider the therapeutic and disease-management options that optimize a patients’ quality of life, with a goal of providing the least invasive, most effective procedures for each individual patient.

Our Vascular Center of Excellence features a full range of diagnostic services, including MRA (Magnetic Resonance Angiography), CTA (Computed Tomography Angiogram), arteriography, Doppler exams, and ultrasound. With an accurate diagnosis provided by this technology, we can choose from the region’s most complete array of therapeutic services — from minimally invasive procedures such as angioplasty, stents, and embolization to surgical treatments like bypass grafts, carotid endarterectomy, and aneurysm repair.
