From the moment you arrive at St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana, you'll notice our total commitment to your comfort. That's why we refer to you as our not only as our patient, but as our guest.
The first person you'll meet at our 106th and North Meridian location is our Concierge, who will greet you, confirm your arrival, and alert your caregivers that you have arrived.
One of our team members will meet you in the lobby to escort you through the building. Typically, if you have come for a procedure, a team member from our Short Stay Unit (SSU) will take you to the SSU where you can prepare for your procedure.
During your procedure, your family will be asked to check in with the Concierge desk. They will be given a pager so that wherever they are in our facility, they can be alerted when the physician is ready to update them on your progress.
After your procedure is complete, you will either be escorted to your private guest suite (if you've had an inpatient procedure) or back to the Short Stay Unit (for outpatient procedures) to begin your recovery before returning home.
Please be sure to have someone available to drive you home following any type of procedure. If you're unable to make transportation arrangements, we're happy to help you.
