Head and Neck Cancer Care

St.Vincent has developed a dedicated inpatient unit with specially trained staff to ensure the highest quality clinical care for patients with cancers of the head and neck, and patients needing voice restoration following laryngeal cancer treatment.

In addition, St.Vincent partners with the Center for Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy (CENTA) to offer:

  • Minimally invasive, robotically assisted Da Vinci surgery
  • Intraoperative radiation therapy
  • Endoscopic thyroid surgical capability
  • A comprehensive head and neck multidisciplinary tumor conference for case reviews, ensuring all treatment options are reviewed
  • Microvascular free-flap reconstruction

Learn about our patient mosaic

More than 75 people, ages 2 to 90, contributed to the Cancer Center’s first mosaic. The Women of Hope, who raise money for cancer patients at St.Vincent, funded this mosaic and will support more mosaics to be created for the inpatient and outpatient cancer treatment areas. Artist-in-Resident Joani Rothenberg oversees the creations.
