Breast Center Screening and Diagnostic Locations

St.Vincent Cancer Care offers extensive breast cancer screening and diagnostics for women and men at our Breast Centers in Indianapolis, Carmel and Fishers. Each Breast Center also offers Bone Densitometry.

The National Quality Measures for Breast Centers Program recognized St.Vincent Indianapolis Hospital, St.Vincent Carmel Hospital, St.Vincent Medical Center Northeast, and the St.Vincent Mobile Screening Van as Certified Quality Breast Centers of Excellence. This is the highest certification level available from NQMBC. St.Vincent is the first healthcare institution in central Indiana, and one of only 11 in the United States, to receive this distinction.

Mobile Mammography

The St.Vincent Mobile Mammography Unit allows the latest equipment to be easily accessible to more women seeking screening mammography services. Completely self-contained, the unit offers door-to-door service to corporations, community clinics, retirement communities and at health fairs throughout Indiana.

• Accredited by the American College of Radiology and certified by the Food and Drug Administration
• Designed for patient privacy and confidentiality with results sent to the participant’s physician and to the participant within seven to ten working days
• Two billing options available including billing insurance directly or a per-person rate can be billed to the organization
• Women ages 35 and older are eligible, as are female employees, spouses of male employees and female retirees for corporations, and female residents, female employees and spouses of male employees at retirement communities
• Services available statewide
