Weakness
Weakness is the lack of physical strength, energy or vigor to do the things one is accustomed to doing. It is the most common complaint of hospice patients.
What to look for:

What to do:

- Use assistive devices recommended by your nurse
- Eat foods that are high in protein
- Take medications
When to call hospice:

- If the patient falls and is injured, bleeding, confused or unconscious
- If the patient sleeps for more than 24 hours
