Accredited as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center
St.Vincent Indianapolis is the first hospital in central Indiana to receive an Advanced Primary Stroke Center accreditation by The Joint Commission which evaluates more than 15,000 U.S. healthcare organizations. Doctors, nurses and other members of the stroke center team are trained to assess patients, treat them promptly and help them prevent a second stroke from occurring in the future.
