The pediatric neurology team at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St.Vincent is partnered with St.Vincent Neuroscience Institute to provide compassionate care to young patients struggling with diseases of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves or muscles. Our pediatric neurologists work closely with a team of specialists to create personalized care strategies for everything from diagnosis to surgical treatment.
Lisa McGuire, MD, received her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine, and completed her pediatrics residency and her pediatric neurology residency at the IU Medical Center. Dr. McGuire is board-certified in Neurology and Pediatrics with special qualifications in Child Neurology. Her special interests include epilepsy, pediatric headache, movement disorders and neuromuscular disease.
James Pappas, MD, received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his pediatrics residency at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Pappas completed his Pediatric Neurology Fellowship at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. He is board-certified in Neurology with special qualifications in Child Neurology. His special interests include epilepsy, muscular dystrophy and neuromuscular disorders, migraine, Tourette’s Syndrome and developmental disorders.
