St.Vincent Salem Hospital Launches FREE 24-Hour Nurse Health Advice Line
Salem, Indiana – St.Vincent Salem Hospital recently launched a new, free 24-hour health nurse advice line.
"883-CARE, the St.Vincent Salem nurse advice line, is available to answer all your health care questions," said Melissa Richardson, manager of Marketing and Public Relations at the hospital. "The 24-hour helpline offers physician referrals, advice on medical issues, and much more."
Each caller will be connected to a nurse who is specially trained to provide health advice over the phone.
"This is a perfect tool to use if you are unsure whether to go to the Emergency Room or visit your physician," stated Richardson. "However, this does not replace calling 911 if your emergency is of a life-threatening nature."
