NO CLASSES JUNE 10-14 (Summer Break)
CWH Membership is required for participation in the all the classes except Prenatal Yoga which requires separate registration.
Please note that a MS membership allows participants to participate only in the MS designated classes held on Monday/Wednesday/Friday.
ALL memberships (CWH & MS) need to register with CAREline @ 317.338.2273.
All exercise classes are held on the St.Vincent Women's Hospital Campus in the 8081 Building, Suite 203, Township Line Road, Indianapolis, IN 46260.

Prenatal Yoga |

This class, a style of Hatha Yoga appropriate for pregnant women, uses breath-synchronized movement to help keep the body supple, strong and flexible in preparation for labor, birth and recovery. The stretches will help improve circulation, reduce fatigue and promote relaxation. Prenatal Yoga also helps you achieve a calmness of mind and spirit, a benefit in birthing and mothering. Intro to Hatha Yoga |

Learn how to balance exercise with mindfulness. In this beginning yoga class you will learn breathing and relaxation techniques as well as basic asana (poses) to improve your strength, balance and flexibility. Some poses will be held in place while others will flow dynamically with the breath. Asana will be done seated on the floor (mat), standing and lying down. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring your yoga mat and a beach towel. You must be able to get safely up and down off of the floor to participate in this class.

Balance & Stretch Basics |

A class of gentle movements designed to promote better balance, range-of-motion, improved posture, and strength. This 45-minute class offers a smorgasbord of exercises that are progressive and structured to create a complete workout that is effective, challenging and FUN!

MS Chair Exercise Class |

A recreational group exercise class and educational program designed specifically for individuals with multiple sclerosis and/or other related conditions. This 45-minute class provides safe and effective exercises that will ease you into a daily routine. Exercises include: range of motion, strength and stretching using chairs for balance or seated safety.

Yoga for Golfers NEW |

Improve flexibility, gain core strength and balance with Hatha style Yoga. Increase your range of motion and reduce swing faults in your golf game. Breath awareness and relaxation techniques will quiet the mind and develop focus. You must be able to get up and down from the floor safely. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your yoga mat and a beach towel.

This class will combine cardiovascular training and toning exercises for a complete body workout~ come ready to "glow".

Balance & Strength Basics |

This 45-minute class includes both balance and strength exercises. Using resistance bands and hand-weights, strength exercises are performed to safely challenge the major muscle groups of the body. Balance and coordination exercises will be performed to increase body awareness and build confidence in movement. Combined, the exercises promote good posture, ease of movement and well-being.

Arthritis Foundation Exercise |

The Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program is a recreational exercise and education program designed specifically for individuals who have been diagnosed with arthritis or who routinely experience joint pain, stiffness and/or limited range of motion. This 45-minute class uses gentle exercises to help improve joint flexibility and maintain strength and endurance. Exercises can be done both standing and/or sitting.

Seated Yoga |

This class utilizes chairs for seated stretching, relaxation, balance, proper breathing techniques, and kinesthetic (body/space) awareness to increase confidence, energy, and ease of movement. Some standing poses are practiced if appropriate…using chairs for balance.

This class utilizes chairs for seated stretching. Asana will be modified as needed helping students maintain flexibility, strength and balance. The class also focuses on breathing and relaxation techniques. Some standing poses are practiced if appropriate…using chairs for balance.

As a reminder, all participants must register with CAREline @ 317.338.2273 to receive a MS Membership to participant in the above exercise classes. Please note that spaces are limited and registration is required to participate. All participants must complete a Health History Questionnaire/Release prior to participation.
