Outpatient Breastfeeding Services
St.Vincent Women’s Hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient breastfeeding services, including classes and individual consultations to assist you and your family. While you and your baby are in the hospital, lactation specialists are available during your stay to assist you with breastfeeding. And, after you leave the hospital, our breastfeeding support groups and lactation specialists can support you for the days and months to come.
Our outpatient breastfeeding offerings include:
Breastfeeding Classes
We offer a variety of classes on topics including latching, positioning, returning to work, pumping, and more.
Lactation Consultations
Learn how to provide optimal breastfeeding support for your baby, especially during the first few weeks (by appointment only).

Indiana Mother’s Milk Bank
The Indiana Mother’s Milk Bank helps save lives of premature and unhealthy infants by providing pasteurized donor human milk to babies whose mothers are unable to provide their own.
