
On Tuesday, June 24 at 10 a.m., St.Vincent Health will host a media “hard hat” tour of its new Medical Center Northeast located at 13914 E. State Route 238.
Highlights of the 120,000-square-foot facility tour include:
- Indiana’s first freestanding emergency department with 11 exam rooms, four observation rooms, trauma room and a room for victims of assault
- Comfort area for massages, aroma therapy and alternative pain management for claustrophobic patients undergoing imaging services
- Copper-shielded MRI room
- CT scan area
- Center for Women’s Health
- Ambulatory surgery center
St.Vincent Medical Center Northeast will serve patients from the growing Fishers, Noblesville and southwestern Madison County markets by supplementing health care services at St.Vincent Indianapolis Hospital, St.Vincent Carmel Hospital and Saint John’s Health System in Anderson.
The outpatient project will offer an accessible, state-of-the-art facility for patients who may require emergency and close-to-home quality care. Construction on the facility began in September 2007 and the opening is set for October 2008.
