Diabetes Youth Foundation of Indiana and Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St.Vincent Partner to Raise Funds for Diabetic Children

 
Funds support a summer camp where children learn to live a healthy life with diabetes

On Friday, November 20, Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St.Vincent is partnering with the Diabetes Youth Foundation of Indiana (DYF) to present the 8th Annual DYF Foundation Dinner and Auction. The event will raise funds for Type 1 diabetic children to participate in the DYF summer camp.

 

Children, ages 7-15, swim, hike, explore, climb and participate in various activities with other Type 1 diabetic Indiana youth during the camp. The DYF camp also provides education and learning programs for children to ensure they lead and manage a healthy life with diabetes.

 

The Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Department at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St.Vincent specializes in diabetes care in children with an emphasis on personalized family care. The department is committed to diagnosis, treating and educating patients and their families about endocrine and metabolic disorders especially diabetes in children.

Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St.Vincent was founded on delivering family-centered care for all pediatric patients throughout Indiana.
