For the third consecutive year, the Saks Fifth Avenue has teamed with the St.Vincent Foundation for the Key to the Cure fundraising event and the charity shopping weekend.
The Key to the Cure fundraising gala will be held within the Saks Fifth Avenue store at the Fashion Mall on Friday, October 23 at 6:30 p.m., and benefit St.Vincent Women’s cancer research. Event attendees will enjoy dinner and dancing, live entertainment, a unique runway show, and have the opportunity to meet fashion designer Pamella Roland. The New York designer will unveil her Spring 2010 collection at the black-tie event.
Saks Fifth Avenue has also partnered with the St.Vincent Foundation for the charity shopping weekend from Thursday, October 15 through Sunday, October 18. During the charity shopping weekend, Saks will donate a percentage of sales to fund women’s cancer research through the St.Vincent Foundation.

St.Vincent Foundation
The St.Vincent Foundation supports the mission of St.Vincent Hospitals and Health Services by securing contributions from grateful patients and families, physicians, nurses and staff, corporations and foundations, and from the community. It has generated millions of dollars in financial resources for the faith-based health provider and its patients since 1968. The Foundation supports scholarships, technology, capital projects, patient programs and services. More than 25 endowed funds and more than 300 restricted funds have been created to ensure that donors can designate their gifts to a particular St.Vincent Health ministry.
