St.Vincent Hospitals and Health Services

Driven by the faith of four Daughters of Charity who arrived in Indianapolis in 1881 with $34.77 in their pockets, the St.Vincent Hospital mission is to treat the poor and sick by following our Core Values of Service of the Poor, Reverence, Integrity, Wisdom, Creativity and Dedication.  Our healthcare ministry has grown to include seven Centers of Excellence: Women's, Children's, Orthopedics, Cardiovascular, Neuroscience, Cancer Care and Bariatrics.  The ageless mission of St.Vincent remains unchanged: to minister to the minds, bodies and spirits of those in need.

The Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) was established by the General Assembly in 1991 to consolidate and better integrate the delivery of human services by State government. FSSA is a health care and social service funding agency. Ninety-four percent (94%) of the agency's total budget is paid to thousands of service providers ranging from major medical centers to a physical therapist working with a developmentally delayed child. The six care divisions in FSSA administer services to one million Hoosiers.

The Indiana Department of Workforce Development is charged with continually improving the Hoosier workforce by improving employee skills and assisting companies to create new jobs. The agency and its WorkOne partners offer a variety of training and educational grants, administer unemployment insurance, operate a statewide job placement services and provide labor market information.
