Hospital Awards

Indianapolis consumers have chosen St.Vincent as a dual recipient of the 2006 Consumers' Choice Award for hospitals, in conjunction with the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce. St.Vincent won in the categories of Best Place to Work in Healthcare and Best Healthcare Provider. St.Vincent Indianapolis Hospital was selected by the National Research Corporation as a 2005-06 Consumer Choice Award winner.

Pharmacy Residency Philosophy

The philosophy of the residency programs is to provide the resident with the opportunity to expand the knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients. This opportunity will be provided through active participation in evidencebased disease state management, patient, family, and medical staff education, medication safety, and outcomes-based research. Experiences will provide residents the ability to function independently as a specialist, while optimizing drug therapy for patients.
