Pharmacy Residency Philosophy
The philosophy of the residency programs is to provide the resident with the opportunity to expand the knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients. This opportunity will be provided through active participation in evidencebased disease state management, patient, family, and medical staff education, medication safety, and outcomes-based research. Experiences will provide residents the ability to function independently as a specialist, while optimizing drug therapy for patients.
