The Pharmacy Department provides a wide range of progressive pharmaceutical care services for all our customer groups including medical/surgical, oncology, cardiology, neonatal, pediatrics, ambulatory, and intensive care units. Pharmacy associates enjoy the benefits of a completely new pharmacy facility including a state of the art IV clean room. The department is supported by house wide automated dispensing machines. The decentralized role of pharmacists on patient care units is emphasized.
Job Requirements
B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm D.
Indiana Pharmacist License
One year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
Job Duties
Pharmacists provide a wide range of pharmaceutical services to patients and other customers. Patient oriented pharmacy services include clinical practice responsibilities, medication order management, and medication distribution activities. Services provided by pharmacists include pharmacokinetics, nutritional support, monitoring patient medication therapy, supervising the distribution functions and medication order management.
