Volunteer Opportunities

The foundation utilizes volunteers to help offset operating costs in a variety of ways. If you would like to join our wonderful volunteer staff, below is a listing of ways you could get involved.

Event Volunteers

At each of our events, volunteers are of utmost importance. From the pre-planning to the event day, volunteers are utilized to assist in assuring a successful event. We have a lot of fun and in the end, a very rewarding day. If you are interested, please click on the event tab to read about each of our events and their dates. Gift Shop Volunteers

The “A Bit of Heaven” gift shop is staffed 100% by volunteers! The shop is located on the first floor of the hospital and is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to      4:00 p.m. We are looking for people who like to visit and have fun! Earn the smile and appreciation from patients and staff by volunteering at the St.Vincent Mercy Hospital Foundation “A Bit of Heaven” gift shop. We value our volunteers and provide them with all necessary training and additional benefits. You will also receive a 10% discount on items in the gift shop – what a great bonus!
