Acute/Skilled Care

The Medical/Surgical Unit at St.Vincent Mercy Hospital provides quality acute and skilled care to our patients. We care for patients of all ages and have 24-hour nursing to provide the care your physician has ordered for you. Detail is paid to your individual needs, focusing on the body, mind and spirit.

While you are in the hospital, your physician may order a variety of testing, treatments, or therapies. Our staff of nurses, therapists, technicians, dietitians, food service personnel, case managers/social workers, and environmental service personnel will work with your physician in providing you with the services and care you need and trust. It is our goal to support, educate, comfort and treat patients, as well as families, in a manner that allows the patient to attain an optimal level of health.

Our private rooms are designed to provide you with privacy as well as comfort. At St.Vincent Mercy Hospital, you will receive the care and compassion you desire.

Our Swing Bed Program is designed for those individuals who may not require extensive care but need extended care and are not quite ready to return home.
