Radiology/Imaging Services
St.Vincent Mercy Hospital’s Radiology Department has state-of-the-art equipment, all with the newest technology available. With all of this equipment so close to home, there is no reason to travel elsewhere. The hospital radiographers are very experienced and perform more than 20,000 procedures a year.
The department is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. To schedule a test or procedure, please call our scheduling office at 765-552-4941.
MRI
The MRI suite is a beautiful 350-square-foot room with a sky light. It houses the Philips 1.5 T Ultra-Short Bore MRI. The power of this magnet will provide the best pictures of anywhere within driving distance.
CT
The CT suite is also over 300 square feet and houses the Philips Mx8000 CT scanner. This scanner is capable of diagnostic tests to find even the smallest of pathologies. The quality, experience, and knowledge of the technologist are unsurpassed.
Nuclear Medicine
The nuclear medicine suite is over 400 square feet and houses the Philips Genesis Camera. Most nuclear tests done today can be performed at St.Vincent Mercy Hospital. Please contact our Nuclear Medicine office at 765-552-4563 with any questions.
Ultrasound
The Ultrasound Department performs many diagnostic tests including thyroid, gall bladder, O.B., abdominal, venous, and arterial dopplers.
Mammography
Our Mammography Department does all aspects of mammography…diagnostic, screenings, and biopsies.
General Radiology
There are three general X-ray rooms in which tests such as chest, head, neck, back and extremity X-rays can be performed. Other procedures such as arthrograms, mylograms, venograms, biopsies and all fluoroscopy studies can also be done.
