Patient Meals - Saint John’s Dietary Department prepares nutritious meals to meet patients’ special needs.

The following other dietary services are also available through Saint John’s:
 

• Guest trays can be ordered for friends and family members to eat with a patient by telling a nurse or the Dietary Department one meal ahead of time. Check with the patient’s nurse for details.
• Medical Nutrition Counseling -- Registered licensed dietitans provide individual counseling for various diet therapies prescribed by a physician.  Examples include diabetes, cardiovascular (low-sodium, low-cholesterol, low-fat), and weight loss.  Call the dietitians at 646-8197 or 646-8695. The sessions require a physician’s order for a nominal fee.
