Med One is a convenient alternative when your regular clinic is closed or you cannot get a timely appointment with your own physician. For your convenience, the center is open seven days a week and no appointment is necessary.
Urgent care is not a substitute for emergency care. You should use a hospital’s emergency department for very serious or life-threatening problems.
Med One is for non-emergency problems such as:
- Sore throats
- Ear infections
- Minor burns
- Minor lacerations
- Sprains and strains
More serious injuries or illnesses are best treated at an emergency department such as:
- Chest pain
- Severe abdominal pain
- Shortness of breath
- Sudden and severe headaches
Occupational Health Services:
- Drug screens - express; DOT and non-DOT; pre-employment; random and BAT (breath alcohol testing)
- DOT and pre-employment physicals
- Comprehensive workman's compensation program for on the job injuries
