Designed to teach you what to do in case of an emergency. Learn the proper procedures for administering CPR to an infant or child.

A reunion for moms and babies. We will share experiences and tips see how babies are doing since going home.

This one-session course provides a review of new trends, changes and techniques in prenatal care for veteran parents. Helps brothers and sisters prepare for a new baby's arrival. A fun-filled hour that includes discussions on what mommy and daddy will be doing when they come to the hospital. We will visit the Family Childbearing Center so brothers and sisters can see where baby will be born. This class is essential for helping young children feel involved in the childbirth process. Asthma
Asthma Education Partners
This program is jointly administered through a tri-county effort. Respiratory therapists, pharmacists and other health care professionals are available to help you manage your asthma symptoms on a daily basis. Stroke Support
St.Joseph Physical & Sports Therapy Stroke Support Group
St.Joseph Physical and Sports Therapy department has partnered with the American Heart Association to form a monthly Stroke Support Group for stroke survivors and their families. The group was formed with the goals of providing accurate information for education that promotes a better understanding of stroke recovery, rehabilitation and prevention of recurrent strokes; offering a way for stroke survivors to meet others with similar challenges and experiences to support each other in positive ways; to provide caregivers and family members a structured approach for sharing and supporting each other.
The meeting has two groups, stroke survivors and caregivers. Amy Cunningham, M.A., C.C.C., speech pathologist and Marianne Hakes, M.A., C.C.C., speech pathologist, facilitate the stroke survivors. Jane Toor, M.A., C.C.C., speech pathologist, facilitates the care givers.

Nutritional Services
St.Joseph's Food & Nutritional Services Department is about more than just feeding our patients, visitors and staff. We offer several services which also help you maintain a healthier lifestyle. Our F&NS team includes several nationally registered dieticians who have developed programs such as diabetic nutritional counseling, programmed meal planning, living with diabetes, body fat testing, computer analysis of foods and several others. You don't have to be a patient or staff member to dine with us, just drop by our cafeteria and see the many selections we offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Yoga is a time-tested system that shows us how to unbind ourselves and become more healthy, happy, creative and free. Classes are instructed by Nedra Hollingsworth. Narcotics Anonymous (NA)
Gives support to people with drug addictions who have the desire to live a drug-free lifestyle. NA is a national organization and can be reached at 1-800-339-8117 for more information.
