Adding a NEW Support Group!

Beginning in January, 2010, we are presenting a NEW support group for patients who are 6 months (or more) post op.

Chef Woody will lead a Bariatric Cooking Class on the

2nd Wednesday of every month.

Recipes, cooking tips, and food tasting will be included in this new group.

Bariatric Buddies!

We will be scheduling a second 2 hour training class for new buddies. If you have previously called to get on the list, no need to call again- you will receive a letter notifying you of the training date. Thank you!

If you are a patient that is at least 9 months post-op and willing to share your experiences and be a support for other patients – WE NEED YOU! The St.Vincent Bariatric Center of Excellence has always made an effort to connect patients with other patients so that a strong support system can be developed as the journey to a healthier lifestyle begins. As the Bariatric Center of Excellence continues to serve more patients, we need to take the opportunity to recruit more buddies. If you have a desire to help, please contact Becky Foster at the Center (317-582-7992).
