Adrienne R. Gomez, M.D.

 Adrienne Gomez Dr. Adrienne Gomez is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. Dr. Gomez is board certified in family as well as bariatric medicine. She provides extensive medical monitoring and education to patients desiring to lose weight and improve their health. In addition to specializing in the treatment of obesity, Dr. Gomez has special interests in preventative medicine, patient education and women’s health.

 

David Creel, Ph.D., R.D., C.D.E.

 David Creel David is a registered dietitian, a certified diabetes educator, and holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. He also has a master’s degree in clinical exercise physiology and is certified as a clinical exercise specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine. David enjoys working in a variety of health-related areas, including program development and supervision, research, education, and counseling. He stays physically active by running, cycling, playing table tennis and shooting hoops with his son.

 

Jessica Robertson, M.A., R.D., C.D.

 Jessica Robertson, M.A., R.D., C.D. Jessica is a graduate of Ball State University and has been a registered dietitian since 2001. After completing a master’s degree in family and consumer sciences, Jessica worked as a clinical dietitian at St. John’s Hospital in Anderson, Indiana. She then went on to work as the coordinator for diabetes education at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. Jessica joined the team at the St. Vincent Bariatric Center of Excellence in 2005.

 

Alison Jung

 Alison Jung Alison graduated in 2003 from Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Health – Healthcare Administration. After graduating Alison worked in medical billing for a year before joining St. Vincent Physician Network as a financial representative in the Billing Services Department. She began working with the St. Vincent Bariatric Center of Excellence in 2005. She enjoys reading, movies and spending time with her son.

 

Christina Reed, L.P.N.

 Christina Reed Christina has been a Licensed Practical Nurse for 3 years, graduating in 2004 from Ivy Tech State College in Anderson, Indiana. Before nursing school, Christina enjoyed her life as a stay-at-home-mom to her 4 children. She joined the St. Vincent Physician Network team upon graduating and has been working with the St. Vincent Bariatric Center of Excellence ever since. She enjoys running, rollerblading, strength training, and being a taxi-driver to her 4 children.

 

Ineke Madderom

 Ineke Madderom Ineke has 26 years of experience in the fitness industry and has been a certified personal trainer through the American Council of Exercise for over 10 years. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois. Ineke works with clients of all ages and degrees of fitness but specializes in working with active and chair-bound seniors. This type of training often focuses on improving balance, flexibility, agility, coordination, strength, and cardiovascular fitness. She also works with clients with special conditions such as fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s disease, arthritis, and diabetes. Ineke teaches a weekly exercise class available to all St. Vincent Bariatric surgery patients. Her hobbies include cycling, camping and hiking.

 

Bob Fields, C.P.T., BSEE

 Bob Fields

Bob Fields, a certified personal trainer & total wellness counselor, has been involved in the health and fitness industry for over thirty years. He holds over thirteen internationally recognized certifications, including the Health/Fitness Instructor credentialed through the American College of Sports Medicine. Bob specializes in individual and family exercise programs with special attention given to the “new-to-exercise” participant. Bob adheres to state-of-the-art training techniques so as to provide safe and motivating exercise programs, incorporating the four essential components of fitness: cardiovascular exercise, strength training, proper nutrition and flexibility.

 

Bob’s exercise prescriptions follow guidelines and training philosophies designed to minimize the risk of injury and promote lifestyle changes necessary for both short and long-term goals. Additionally, Bob enjoys working as a bio-medical engineer designing devices to help with posture and balance training.


 

Amanda Kendall, R.D., C.D.

 

Amanda Kendall graduated 2001 from IUPUI with bachelor’s degree in psychology. She graduated in 2007 from Purdue University with bachelor’s degree in dietetics. Amanda started working at St. Vincent Bariatric Center of Excellence in March 2009. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association and active in both local and state associations. She has been working with surgical and non-surgical patients since 2007.
