Patient Education

Respiratory disease can be scary. We hope to ease some of that fear by providing education as a valuable part of our services. We want all children and families to understand their conditions and all aspects of managing those conditions.

Our education efforts include:

• Peak Flow meter instruction
• Education on how to use medications properly for best results
• Pediatric Asthma Outreach Program, including the following classes offered at no cost:
  • What is Asthma?
  • Open Airways Asthma Program
  • Parents as Asthma Managers
  • School Staff Asthma Workshop
  • Asthma Tools for Schools
