Pediatric Surgery

Pediatric Surgeons diagnosis and manage surgical diseases in neonates, infants, children and adolescents. Pediatric Surgeons have received special training (2 years) in congenital and acquired pediatric surgical problems after completing a general surgery residency of 5-7 years.

At St.Vincent Children’s Hospital, board certified Pediatric Surgeons are available 24 hours a day to meet your child’s special surgical needs.

Is your child coming to St.Vincent for surgery? Learn about our pre-op tours by reading Michael's Operation, a story of what it is like to have an operation.
