STAR Workforce Development Program
STAR (Special Talents to Achieve and Rise) is a program operated by St.Vincent-Indianapolis that helps unemployed and disadvantaged adults enter the healthcare field. A combination of classroom training and mentoring by senior St.Vincent associates readies participants to apply for permanent openings with St.Vincent and experience continued on-the-job success.

Healthcare Economic and Market Facts
All healthcare providers are impacted by public policy and funding decisions. As a result, St.Vincent is continually challenged to make quality care available to an increasingly discerning public, while continuing to address the needs of the poor. To identify gaps that lead to healthcare disparity, St.Vincent must stay attuned to the marketplace, use existing resources wisely and seek alternative means to deliver mission-driven services.
