Volunteer Opportunities

Many of the services provided by the UDC are dependent upon the assistance of volunteers. The UDC strives to recruit volunteers from St.Vincent Associates, surrounding high schools and universities and from the community at large.

The UDC is continually seeking volunteers for:

The Kids With a Mission (K.W.A.M.) Programs

After School Program
serves K-6th grades
Some of the volunteer opportunities include helping with homework, tutoring, mentoring, guest speaking and chaperoning for field trips.
 

Brother2Brother and Sister2Sister Program
serves middle and high school students
Some of the volunteer opportunities include assisting with group activities, providing a safe environment for the students, serving dinner.
 

The Beds and Britches, Etc. (B.A.B.E.) Store

An incentive program funded by the Marion County Health and Hospital Corporation that helps expectant and new mothers with the items they will need.

Some of the volunteer opportunities include, assisting clients with their shopping, helping with stocking and inventory, answering phone calls.
