Click here to Pre-Register.   BirthNotes BirthNotes provides a personal birth experience, including one or more free pre-delivery appointments where you meet one-on-one with an experienced nurse to review your medical history and identify any special needs or requests you may have.  Your BirthNotes appointment also includes a private tour, and completion of necessary paperwork prior to your arrival in labor.  To schedule an appointment, simply call 317.582.7733.   Unit Overview St.Vincent Carmel Hospital has a five-bed labor and delivery unit, a two-bed antepartum (pre-labor) unit and a 14-bed mother/baby unit (postpartum), as well as an Obstetrician in-house at all times.   In addition to our 14-bed newborn nursery, we also have a four-bed Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with a Neonatologist in-house 24/7, allowing us to care for infants with prematurity and special needs.       Delivery   Breastfeeding Support Group   When: Mondays Time: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon Where: St. Vincent Carmel Professional Building 13450 N. Meridian St. (Entrance 3) Suite 255   Nursing mothers and babies, as well as expectant mothers, are welcome. We will share experiences and concerns with a St. Vincent Lactation Consultant in attendence.
