The St.Vincent Stress Center has a wide variety of programs to help those struggling with an alcohol or substance abuse problem or Chemical Dependency. A continuum of treatment services is available ranging from minimal weekly sessions to daily treatment. Treatment options for adults vary depending upon the progression of the disease. After a thorough assessment, a trained specialist will work with you or your loved one to determine the level of care needed. (Note: If you are concerned about a child under the age of 18 years, please refer to the information in Youth Services.)
St. Vincent Stress Center offers a specialized Relapse Prevention Chemical Dependency treatment for adults who have had difficulty maintaining sobriety following previous treatment. This option also offers help for those involved in Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous and for those who have become dysfunctional in recovery and sobriety.
You, or a loved one, may also be suffering from a co-existing mental illness with chemical dependency. St. Vincent Stress Center provides specialized intensive dual-diagnosis treatment for adults who may need help to accept both diagnoses and incorporate two kinds of recovery strategies.
If you think you are suffering from chemical or alcohol dependency or dual problems (co-existing mental health and chemical dependency), or you have a friend or relative who is suffering from such, you can discuss treatment options by calling the Stressline at (317) 338-4800. |
