You are invited to become a St. Vincent New Hope volunteer. To volunteer you must be 16 years of age and commit to a minimum of 30 hours of volunteer service per year. You also must complete volunteer orientation. We have many opportunities for individuals, families, schools, corporations or organizations. St. Vincent New Hope values our volunteers and the difference they make in the lives of the people we serve.

Why Volunteering is Important

According to Amy Flint, Director of Placement at New Hope, “It’s really a quality of life issue. The volunteers have opened up new avenues and new resources that the staff cannot provide, either because they don’t have the time or they don’t have the knowledge. Some of the individuals we serve may not have the opportunity to do some of the things they are currently doing without the volunteers. You are another person involved in the individual’s life who is not paid to be there.”

Volunteering at St. Vincent New Hope is a wonderful opportunity to meet and interact with individuals with disabilities. We are constantly exploring ways to enhance community integration for the people we serve and volunteers are a vital part of this effort. We will create a volunteer experience to match your time and talents.
