Professional Staff
St.Joseph’s professional and caring staff consists of a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist, Board Certified Medical Oncologists/Hematologists, Board Certified Surgeons, oncology nurses, social workers, dieticians and pastoral care staff. The team also includes certified radiation therapists who properly position patients and administer radiation treatment; certified dosimetrists who are primarily responsible for the patient’s treatment plan; and certified radiation physicists who check and calibrate the complex equipment and assist in treatment planning. Each patient’s medical and emotional needs are addressed from all members of the team in conjunction with attending to each patient as an individual to ensure the best comprehensive cancer care that ranges from prevention to diagnosis and treatment. In order to provide radiation and chemotherapy, the team is available five days a week and on-call during the weekend for emergencies.
