No matter what type of cancer you've had, you will need regular checkups and possibly lab tests and x-rays. Your follow-up care will depend on your type of cancer and on other treatments that you had or may need. In addition to checking the results of your treatment, follow-up care may also include more cancer treatment, rehabilitation and counseling.
