James Bicos

Dr. James Bicos is a fellowship trained, sports medicine orthopaedic surgeon focusing on the individual needs of athletes of all ages, with a special interest in cartilage restoration procedures and shoulder injuries.  He has had experience with college and professional teams.  He has authored numerous research publications and chapters on shoulder and knee ligament injuries. 

Dr. Bicos is originally from Chicago, Illinois.  He attended Northwestern University and earned a degree in Biomedical Engineering.  His medical school and residency training were completed at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, with a sports medicine fellowship competed at Connecticut Health Center.
