Surgery Center

The Surgery Center provides a wide variety of surgical services without hospitalization. The center has some of the most sophisticated surgical equipment available today. Other specialty equipment includes a wide range of state-of-the-art ophthalmological and gynecological equipment.

Saint John’s Surgery Center has a conventional recovery area, and a step-down recovery area, which is more homelike with reclining chairs and a television. In these two areas, patients are closely monitored before discharge to ensure they are ready to return home.

Beepers are provided to family members who wish to leave the Surgery Center during the surgical procedure. This enables Surgery Center staff to notify them immediately when the patient is out of surgery.
