The Physician Outreach Network is a group of medical professionals who meet quarterly in Indianapolis, Indiana to share experiences and collaborate on local, regional and international medical mission outreach initiatives. Projects include providing charity medical care and relief efforts in impoverished communities around the country and around the world.

Natural disasters, widespread hunger, epidemics and disease are unfortunate byproducts of the world in which we live. The Physician Outreach Network, under the leadership of Dr. Malcolm Herring, seeks to serve the needs of individuals affected by these factors. Other goals and objectives include:

·          Fostering spiritual growth and fulfillment through service to the poor, oppressed and voiceless

·          Increasing awareness and integration of service opportunities

·          Encouraging a culture where physicians are generous of time, talent and treasure

·          Glorifying God in the work we do
