Haiti Relief Support Opportunities
St.Vincent Physician Outreach Network (PON) is partnering with local medical mission teams in volunteering to support the Haiti relief effort. In fact, a team of St.Vincent medical professionals visited Haiti early this year and many more are planning trips throughout the year. In addition to financial contributions, many have given their time in helping to organize and pack medication, medical equipment and supplies that will be used on these trips.
Medical professionals – particularly surgeons, surgical nurses and medics – are always in great demand. If you are a medical clinician or would like to learn more about PON’s response to the Haiti disaster, please view the opportunities listed on this site.

PON has developed a plan to assist in the aid of Haitian people in need. PON is connecting with medical outreach organizations in Indiana to join in a series of volunteer medical missions to Haiti rendering direct medical care to people in need. It is important to understand that the conditions in Haiti are primitive and the logistical considerations are extensive. Medical professionals who have experience with prior medical mission trips and who are interested in volunteering may contact one of the following organizations which will be deploying to Haiti over the next several months. Please consider volunteering your time and medical talents.
PON is concerned about the sustainability of the Haitian people. In addition to the PON, The Central Indiana Churches for Haiti is a means of coordinating our efforts for sending ongoing mission trips to Haiti.
