Flora Kisuule, M.D. MPH
Flora Kisuule, M.D., MPH, earned her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota and a Masters in Public Health at The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. She completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Dr. Kisuule is as Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Associate Director of the hospitalist division at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Her academic interests are in combining the fields of public health and hospital medicine and to this end she has researched and published on hospital-based public health interventions. Dr. Kisuule also has interests in medical education and has collaborated in writing the curriculum and now co-directs the hospitalist fellowship program based at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Dr. Kisuule is an active member of the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) and has facilitated several times at SHM’s leadership academies. She also serves on SHM’s women’s task force. She is the Vice President of SHM’s Greater Baltimore Area Chapter. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Society of General Internal Medicine. |
