Kishore Vellody, M.D.

Dr. Vellody completed his undergraduate training at the University of Illinois in Champaign, followed by medical school at the University of Illinois in Chicago. His internship and residency was at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Dr. Vellody currently works as a hospitalist for the Paul C. Gaffney Diagnostic Referral Service at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Vellody is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Vellody serves as co-director of the medical school’s Advanced Physical Exam course, director of the division’s Evening Hospitalist Program, and as physician leader of the general medical ward at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
