This presentation talks about nuturing the spirit while healing the body through the 6 P's of spiritual care of patients: Presence Pause Preparation Posture Power Prayer The focus will be on inspiring and empowering associates in their ministry with patients, familes and each other.

  • Recognize patients with spiritual needs
  • Identify resources available to meet patients with spiritual needs
  • Understand the role of the Pastoral Care Department
  • Initiate spiritual care at the bedside
